The Sensor

The electro-optical volumetric measurement system for discharge conveyors measures the volume of material being discharged from a conveyor belt using electro-optical technology and then transmits these measurements directly to a hand-held computerunit.

• operates without any contact to the material and therefore has no wear
• is insensitive against dust and vibrations
• measurement is possible at any conveyor gradient, even if the machine or conveyor moves during operation
• automatic measurement and data store
• Wireless data transmission via bluetooth
• For stationary applications there are following interfaces available:
  • Serial I/O: RS-422
  • Analog Output: 4-20mA
  • Digital Pulse Output:  Pulse/Volume

• Compact handheld PDA with various operation functions
• printout of measured data possible directly at the job-site
• connection to office lap/desktop using a USB cable
